June 18 - 26 (Vacation in Ohio)
We
spent over a week in central Ohio visiting our dear friends, the Millers.
We had a wonderful, relaxing and fun-filled time together. Their
hospitality was exceptional and we are so blessed to have such good friends.
Unfortunately, they live almost 2,500 miles away.
Our
trip actually started by flying in to Indianapolis.
We
visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (aka "The Brickyard").
Noah
enjoyed looking at all of the cars in the museum.
Noah
and Sam had fun playing together during the week.
Faith loved the swing. She could not get enough of it.
The
kids experienced fireflies for the first time.
They enjoyed catching them and keeping them in jars.
We
went hiking around the Columbus area.
Looking at this picture reminds me of how amazing God is
and
how He has blessed us.
Sam
and Emily working on their meditations.
A
boys night out at Jacobs Field in Cleveland.
We
spent another day with nature, exploring Old Mans Cave.
Samantha showing off her war paint.
We
spent a day in Amish Country. The kids were cute in their matching
Disney outfits.
On
one of the days, another family we adopted with in China visited us.
It
was a blessing to see the kids and how they have changed since being in
America.
Toward the end of the trip, Faith and Ri really
began to have fun playing with each other.
On
our last night, Noah helped build a bonfire.
Yes,
he was allowed to do so and it was a controlled burn.
June 15 - Samantha graduates 5th grade!
We
are so very proud of Samantha! She graduated 5th Grade and received
the President's Award for Educational Excellence.
Samantha received her award for her
strong academics. Her hard works and
determination paid off.
Samantha received her Promotion Certificate.
Watch out Middle School!
Sam
had family on hand to celebrate her special day.
Samantha and her friend Megan, celebrating their special day.
June 12
Noah
played the part of a mirror in the school play. He was the most
handsome mirror we have ever seen.
