Samantha has been singing this song so much that Faith has learned it.
August 27 (First day of school for Samantha & Noah)
It's
hard to believe that we have a 7th grader and a 4th grader. Time
certainly flies.
These
two kids had to be the best looking in their classes.
August 17, 18 & 24 (San Diego)
August 22 (San Luis Obispo)
We
took a quick trip to San Luis Obispo. The kids visited the cows and
watched them get milked.
August 16 (Surfing)
We
spent the day at the beach. Sam enjoyed surfing while Noah and Faith
played in the sand. We are blessed to be living in California.
August 10 (Faith's picture at the Ventura County Fair)
One
of Evan's co-workers took an incredible picture of Faith and, with our
permission, entered the picture in the Ventura County Fair. Of more
than 2,400 photos, this picture won the People's Choice Award. Thanks
John; it was thrilling to see Faith and the reaction of people who walked
by.
August 5-8 (Little Luke is hospitalized)
Our
little guy spent the better part of four days in the hospital. He had
a very high fever Monday night. After he was seen by his doctor, we
were told to take him to the hospital for some tests. Once we received
the results, he was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Santa Barbara.
He stayed there receiving intravenous antibiotics through Friday night.
Luke was a trooper and even showed occasional smiles during his illness.
The
entire Masyr family would like to thank you for all of the prayers for Luke
during this time. They were greatly appreciated.

July 31 (Our Baby Turns 12!!)
It is
difficult to believe that Samantha is 12 years old already. It seems
like only a few years ago that we brought her home from the hospital.
We have been so blessed to have a special girl / young lady. We love
you Sammy!!
Samantha and her friends enjoyed dinner before their midnight swim.
Looking at this picture reminds me how fast time flies. We need to
treasure each and every moment with our princess.

July 21-25 (Surf Camp)
The
kids decided they wanted to become even more Californian and learn how to
surf. They both absolutely loved surfing!
July 14-18 (Vacation at the Delta)
Christy and the kids enjoyed a week on vacation with her parents up at the
Delta. They enjoyed spending time as a family, playing in the water
and fishing with Grandpa.
The
kids enjoyed their time up at the Delta. It's hard to believe we were
able to find a life vest that, somewhat, fit Luke.
The
kids had fun riding in the tube.
Grandpa took the kids fishing. They even caught some fish!
Samantha had her first waterskiing lessons
and
was able to get up. Way to go!!
